Role Summary

We seek an inventive and client-focused Interior Design Consultant responsible for managing residential projects from initial consultation through to final design approval and order placement. The role demands a solid foundation in design principles, practical site knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and multitasking abilities to ensure clients have a positive and seamless experience.

Key Duties

• Handle HomeLane customers throughout the design journey from consultation to order confirmation.
• Grasp customer needs and convert them into viable and visually appealing design solutions.
• Generate precise quotations, comprehensive design documents, and production-ready plans.
• Ensure designs are practical, easy to install, and compatible with site conditions.
• Liaise with teams in production, operations, and installation for flawless project delivery.
• Effectively present design proposals and pricing details to customers.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and meet conversion objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture with 1 to 3 years of formal education.
• Between 3 and 7 years’ hands-on experience in residential interior design projects.
• Exposure to site work with understanding of installation practicalities.
• Mandatory proficiency in Google SketchUp software.
• Strong knowledge of space planning, modular furniture design, material selection, and execution techniques.
• Customer-oriented mindset capable of balancing aesthetics, function, and budget.
• Good command over verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent English is essential; command of local languages is beneficial.
