As part of our commitment to excellence, we are looking for a seasoned Security Consultant to join our team in Singapore to support public sector clients with cybersecurity and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough security evaluations, encompassing both technical and governance aspects, to uncover risks and security breaches.
  • Lead security audits assessing organizational adherence to policies, laws, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity risk analyses and provide tailored remediation strategies aligned with business goals and compliance mandates.
  • Analyze security architecture, system configurations, and implementations to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Generate detailed security reports, audit results, management summaries, and actionable recommendations.
  • Assist clients in deploying security controls and enhancing their cybersecurity governance frameworks.
  • Offer expert advice on cybersecurity policies, standards, and optimal security practices.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, technical staff, and client representatives throughout project phases to embed security requirements in solution delivery.
  • Engage in security compliance efforts, including readiness assessments and certifications as needed.
  • Stay informed on evolving cybersecurity threats, regulatory updates, and industry trends to deliver informed guidance.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years' professional experience in cybersecurity consulting, information security, or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
  • Demonstrated expertise in performing security assessments, audits, cybersecurity risk evaluations, and compliance examinations.
  • Experience working with public sector or government agencies, particularly Ministries of Home Affairs or similar organizations, is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, and government regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical abilities with proficient documentation and technical report writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with effective stakeholder management capabilities.

Desired Certifications and Skills

  • Certifications like Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with government cybersecurity compliance programs and security governance initiatives.
  • Knowledge of cloud security evaluations and modern enterprise security architecture is a plus.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services environments beneficial.

The ideal candidate is proactive, skilled in client engagement, and experienced in delivering security consultations for public sector entities. They must be adept at communicating complex security risks to diverse audiences and capable of crafting practical recommendations that comply with regulatory requirements while improving cybersecurity posture.
