About the Role
Join a pioneering semiconductor company focused on transforming AI hardware infrastructure. This position offers remote or hybrid work flexibility from their Southampton office. As a key member of a skilled team specializing in Analog IC Design and Layout, you will contribute to the physical layout of high-speed analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. Your work will involve translating schematics into precise layouts that satisfy electrical performance, device matching, parasitic effects, reliability, and manufacturability standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement layouts for analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuits following best practices.
- Manage device matching, floorplanning, routing, and verify designs via DRC/LVS and debugging techniques.
- Perform parasitic extraction to ensure circuit integrity and manufacturability compliance.
- Collaborate with the design team to influence product technical direction and support company growth.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in analog and mixed-signal CMOS layout methods including device matching and routing.
- Practical knowledge of advanced semiconductor process design rules and layout considerations.
- Hands-on experience with IC layout software such as Cadence Virtuoso.
- Proficiency in running and troubleshooting DRC/LVS tools like Calibre, Assura, or Pegasus.
- Preferred background with circuit blocks including PLLs, ADCs, DACs, SerDes, bandgaps, regulators, amplifiers, oscillators, filters, and high-speed I/O.
Additional Information
The company offers a competitive salary aligned with market rates, a collaborative work environment with excellent colleagues, and the benefit of working remotely for most tasks.
