Role Overview

The Senior Human Resources Generalist position is a full-time role based on-site in Al Khor, Qatar. This role entails managing daily HR operations such as employee relations, aiding performance management, and implementing HR policies consistently. The incumbent will administer employee benefits, oversee onboarding and offboarding, and ensure adherence to Qatari labor regulations and company policies. Routine duties involve guiding management teams on HR issues, addressing employee queries, maintaining HR documentation and systems, and enhancing HR processes continually. Partnering with leadership on workforce strategy, supporting recruitment efforts, and fostering an equitable, inclusive, and secure workplace environment are additional responsibilities.

Qualifications and Expertise

  • Proven competencies in Human Resources functions and management, with previous experience as an HR generalist or in a comparable capacity.
  • Ability to formulate, interpret, and enforce HR policies aligned with corporate objectives and legal requisites.
  • Skilled in benefits administration, including enrollment processes, communication of benefits, and resolving related issues.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local labor laws, regulatory standards, workplace ethics, and diversity management.
  • Relevant academic credentials such as a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; professional HR certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong communication abilities, adept at problem solving and conflict resolution, with a collaborative approach towards working with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications, with a proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Experience in HR within varied business sectors, preferably including Oil & Energy or similar regional markets.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage the HR needs of an organization with more than 2000 employees.
