Job description
Overview
The Senior HR Systems Development Analyst will be responsible for optimizing and supporting HR-related digital systems and processes. This role involves collaborating with HR teams, IT departments, and external vendors to enhance system functionality and deliver user-centric solutions that align with organizational objectives.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Maintain and support HR applications, ensuring system configurations meet HR policies and business demands.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve issues and implement system enhancements.
- Analyze and refine HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, payroll, leave management, and employee lifecycle management.
- Automate manual HR workflows and standardize processes to increase efficiency.
- Identify gaps in current processes and propose effective improvements.
- Collect business requirements from HR stakeholders and convert these into detailed functional specifications for IT teams.
- Assist in solution design and oversee implementation phases.
- Plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing to validate system updates prior to production rollout.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive HR documentation such as SOPs, policies, workflows, and user guides.
- Manage change requests and support digital HR transformation initiatives.
- Deliver training to HR users and provide ongoing functional support to troubleshoot system issues.
- Apply up-to-date technical and soft skills to fulfill operational and developmental goals efficiently.
- Generate periodic status reports highlighting task completion and any deviations.
- Proactively resolve problems and escalate complex operational challenges when necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance within all HR system activities.
- Promote process automation opportunities and maintain policy compliance.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols to guarantee workplace safety and regulatory conformity.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis & Engineering or related discipline. Between 6 to 10 years of relevant professional experience is required. Strong expertise is expected in application development standards and procedures, including system analysis, design, and architecture, with familiarity across desktop, distributed, web, and joint application development environments.
