About the Company

VVDN specializes in developing advanced, commercially viable products focused on technologies like AI, ML, Big Data, and Analytics, serving diverse sectors such as Automotive, IoT, Networking, Cameras, Industrial, FPGA, and Cloud solutions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Possess over 5 years of dedicated experience in designing and developing high-power electronics and power converters.
  • Demonstrate in-depth expertise in high-power AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC power converters.
  • Have practical experience working with power topologies such as PFC, LLC, Full-Bridge, Phase-Shifted Full-Bridge, Buck/Boost, and Inverter circuits.
  • Exhibit strong understanding of power devices including MOSFETs, IGBTs, Silicon Carbide (SiC), Gallium Nitride (GaN), and their associated gate drivers.
  • Be knowledgeable in critical components like high-power magnetics, DC-link capacitors, snubbers, as well as thermal management techniques and appropriate component selection.
  • Proficient in simulation and design tools such as LTspice, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink or equivalents.
  • Hands-on operational experience using test instruments like oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Understand and apply EMI/EMC principles, along with compliance to creepage, clearance, and electrical safety regulations.
  • Possess strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis capabilities in hardware design.
  • Experience working with kilowatt to high-kilowatt power systems and SiC-based converters is a plus.
