About BACENA
BACENA is an investment management firm dedicated to crafting thoughtfully informed, data-centered strategies for a varied clientele. They emphasize simplifying complex financial ideas through clear, engaging visual communications. Collaboration across specialized teams enhances both investment decisions and client reporting. Core company values include professionalism, innovation, initiative, and design excellence to enrich the client experience.
Role Overview
The Senior Graphic Designer role is based at BACENA's Sydney office as a full-time position. This role involves conceiving and implementing visual strategies for presentations, marketing collateral, reports, and digital channels to effectively communicate investment insights and reinforce brand messaging. Daily duties encompass crafting graphics and layouts, refining brand standards, coordinating with investment and property teams, and maintaining visual consistency across all platforms. Leading the design for the corporate website and digital touchpoints using an AI-native toolset (Base44) for prototyping and iterating designs efficiently is a core responsibility. The role requires managing multiple projects, directing creative efforts, meeting deadlines, contributing strategic input to design processes, enhancing visual storytelling, and supporting ongoing brand evolution.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of seven years professional experience in brand and digital design, with a portfolio showcasing complex information design and storytelling.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and upholding cohesive branding systems.
- Advanced skill in typography selection and application to improve readability and brand impact.
- Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; strong understanding of digital and print production workflows.
- Comfortable working within AI-assisted design environments and website development platforms.
- Preference for minimalist, restrained design styles, with deep familiarity with financial and institutional contexts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of articulating design concepts clearly to non-design stakeholders, including leadership.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, or video editing is advantageous, especially within financial services, corporate, or B2B sectors.
- Must be based in Sydney and available for full-time onsite work.
