Role Overview

As a Senior Global Compensation Analyst supporting US and India employees, you will manage key aspects of Sagent's compensation programs to attract and retain top talent while ensuring compliance with all relevant legal standards. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards and enjoying hybrid work options, this role offers high visibility within a fast-growing FinTech company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze compensation by evaluating jobs to define classifications, exempt or non-exempt status, and competitive salary ranges using market and internal data.
  • Develop and maintain job architectures and salary structures aligned with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
  • Create and communicate comprehensive compensation policies including salary frameworks and variable pay schemes.
  • Advise management and employees on compensation matters, addressing salary concerns and promotion evaluations.
  • Generate reports on job and compensation analyses incorporating statistical methods to facilitate informed decisions.
  • Keep updated on labor laws affecting compensation to ensure company compliance and implement best practices.
  • Perform salary market data analysis specific to US and Indian workforce; prepare salary and variable pay data to support compensation functions.
  • Draft compensation statements and sales compensation agreements.
  • Collaborate with management and People Operations on job classification requests and manage job architecture integrity.
  • Enhance existing compensation-related processes continuously.
  • Audit compensation data regularly for accuracy and assist both internal and external auditors by providing reports and documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience managing compensation programs for US and Indian employees.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing compensation documentation and agreements.
  • Proficient with Excel, ranging from intermediate to advanced skills.
  • Proven experience with ADP Workforce Now or Rippling platforms.
  • Strong understanding of wage and tax laws applicable to the US and India.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is mandatory.
  • Excellent team collaboration abilities.
