Role Overview

The Senior Fullstack Engineer will focus on constructing a new generation of industry-specific applications built on top of the Mitti platform. Working within a small and agile team, you will develop highly customized user experiences targeted to particular customer segments rather than simply expanding a universal product flow. The role emphasizes autonomy and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement product features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and mobile platforms, with an emphasis on frontend development using React Native.
• Make pragmatic, timely decisions about whether to integrate with existing platform systems or develop independently.
• Manage dependencies with platform teams by balancing contributions to shared infrastructure against immediate team needs.
• Collaborate closely with a principal engineer and cross-functional teams to explore requirements, validate technical solutions, and iterate rapidly.
• Develop AI-native functionalities as the product evolves, contributing to foundational platform capabilities supporting the wider engineering organization.
• Clearly communicate technical trade-offs and any constraints to ensure realistic expectations.
• Participate in code reviews and actively raise technical standards through cooperative engagement with peers.

Required Skills and Experience

• Expertise in frontend development with strong React skills; experience with React Native is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in backend programming using TypeScript or Go; Go experience is a plus, with support available to learn as needed.
• Experience working in fast-paced, product-focused environments, preferably in SaaS startups or companies scaling rapidly.
• Capability to build new applications while skillfully navigating and integrating with pre-existing systems, not limited to greenfield projects.
• Active usage of agentic coding tools as an integral part of daily work rather than occasional aid.
• A product-oriented mindset that enables co-owning project direction with product managers, making thoughtful scope decisions, and understanding the underlying purpose behind developments.

• Intellectual curiosity about developing AI-native product features and understanding how AI transforms viable product ideas.

Success Criteria

• Within three months: successfully shipped impactful features, made sound technical integration decisions, and developed strong collaboration with principal engineers and team members.
• Independently confident in making technical decisions with an ability to escalate issues with well-prepared options and trade-offs.
• Maintains rapid iteration cycles by resolving blockers independently and escalating only critical impediments promptly.
• Within six months: delivered features actively used by customers, contributing not only to deliverables but also to team culture and processes.
