Key Responsibilities

• Enhance our gaming platform, focusing heavily on backend development by designing and implementing new features.
• Develop, maintain, and iteratively improve our web and mobile application programming interfaces (APIs).
• Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs while optimizing game performance to maintain a seamless player experience and high satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including project managers, graphic designers, developers, support staff, quality assurance, and business intelligence to generate creative ideas and refine the product continuously.

Required Qualifications

• Multiple years of verified experience working as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and PHP programming languages.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as AngularJS, HTML5, and CSS3 is an advantage.
• Experience handling relational databases like MySQL, NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, and key-value stores including Memcached and Redis.
• Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning abilities paired with effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Competence in implementing and advancing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, including introducing test automation into existing projects.
• Capability to independently manage development tasks and oversee projects autonomously.
• A strong mindset towards quality, ownership, and accountability in software delivery.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Additional experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, containerization technologies, API-driven development, and OpenAPI specifications is desirable.
• Residency within the greater Hamburg region is required.
