Senior Full Stack Engineer (React.js & Python/Node.js)

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Full Stack Engineer specializing in React.js and Python/Node.js to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE on a full-time, onsite basis. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, creating, and deploying scalable, secure cloud-native applications.

Position Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and sustain scalable full-stack solutions utilizing React.js with backend services in Python and/or Node.js.
• Construct and manage backend APIs and business logic within AWS infrastructure.
• Create reusable, responsive React.js components adhering to contemporary frontend standards.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful or GraphQL API services.
• Utilize AWS tools such as Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway, and RDS/MySQL to support cloud-native applications.
• Implement real-time communication functionalities using WebSockets as needed.
• Participate in designing microservices, serverless computing, and event-driven application models.
• Optimize performance, scalability, security, and reliability across frontend and backend systems.
• Engage in code reviews, debugging, automated testing, and maintaining thorough technical documentation.
• Operate CI/CD pipelines and use version control systems to facilitate effective software releases.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and develop streamlined solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UI/UX designers, and engineering peers to fulfill project goals.
• Adhere to coding conventions, architectural guidelines, and best software development practices.
• Stay current with advancements in React.js, Python, Node.js, and AWS technologies.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
• 6 to 10 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in backend programming using Python and/or Node.js.
• Strong front-end development skills with React.js, including component-based design, state management, and responsive layouts.
• Experience creating and integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services such as Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway, and RDS/MySQL.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, serverless environments, and event-driven designs.
• Ability to implement WebSocket-based real-time features.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling, automated tests, Git version control.
• Competence in performance tuning, debugging, and problem resolution.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork capabilities.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience working with Docker containers.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Agile/Scrum methodology exposure.
• Usage of project tracking and collaboration platforms such as Jira and Confluence.
• Mentoring experience and advocating software engineering best practices.
• Understanding of cloud security principles, scalability, and deployment strategies.
