Role Overview

As a Senior Engineer at Concord Visa based in Auckland, you will contribute to building a modern full-stack JavaScript platform using TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL. Your work will span frontend, backend, AI integrations, and third-party APIs, directly impacting immigration processes by creating tools such as petition drafting systems, automated review workflows, and HRIS integrations. You will collaborate closely with the CTO to ensure strict data security and privacy, handling sensitive information including passports, biometrics, and financial details across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full-stack features that streamline immigration business operations on a modern JS stack.
• Conduct research and development into AI and large language models (LLMs), integrating them into client-facing and internal tools to improve performance, accuracy, and productivity.
• Collaborate with immigration lawyers, case managers, and operational teams to design scalable workflows and features across jurisdictions and visa categories.
• Manage complex permission structures and data isolation requirements to maintain the highest security standards.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design elegant and straightforward solutions.
