Role Summary

The company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to take full ownership of features from end-to-end, encompassing the Angular frontend, Node.js API, and underlying database queries. This role involves building and maintaining a complex enterprise SaaS platform that features a rich data-intensive planning interface and back-end workflows involving Snowflake, PostgreSQL, external APIs, and Python jobs.

This role goes beyond simple CRUD operations and includes developing interactive worksheet grids with thousands of cells, supporting real-time collaboration, multi-step workflows like S&OP and budgeting approvals, SSE streaming, job queue orchestration, and AI-driven analytics. Candidates should think systemically rather than focus solely on user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support full-stack production features using Angular (frontend), Node.js/Express (API layer), PostgreSQL (UI metadata), and Snowflake (business data).
• Create efficient and responsive Angular interfaces for enterprise use cases, such as interactive grid worksheets, drag-and-drop, dashboards, charts, and complex forms.
• Build and optimize REST APIs in Node.js/Express to serve as middleware between frontend, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Python job engines.
• Write performant SQL queries for Snowflake (analytical, aggregations, scenario management) and PostgreSQL (session management, UI configs, notifications).
• Implement real-time features using Server-Sent Events, WebSockets, or polling to support live status updates, alerts, and collaborative editing.
• Integrate with job queue systems like BullMQ for triggering and monitoring long-running Python batch processes.
• Manage Snowflake connection pooling, reconnection logic, and error recovery in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and high-level technical decision-making.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with robust error handling, logging, and adherence to security best practices across the stack.
• Troubleshoot issues from frontend rendering glitches to backend performance bottlenecks including memory leaks and slow queries.

Required Skills - Angular & Frontend

• Proficient with Angular 14+ features including modules, standalone components, dependency injection, change detection strategies (OnPush), and lifecycle management.
• Skilled in Reactive programming using RxJS, including Observables, Subjects, operators like switchMap, mergeMap, combineLatest, debounceTime, and memory leak prevention.
• Experience with component architecture patterns such as smart vs presentational components, dynamic component loading, content projection, custom directives, and reusable libraries.
• Strong knowledge of state management solutions like NgRx, Akita, or service-based state patterns for managing complex app states.
• Expertise with Angular Routing encompassing lazy loading, route guards, resolvers, and nested routing hierarchies.
• Handling complex forms with Reactive Forms utilities like FormGroup, FormArray, dynamic generation, custom and cross-field validators.
• Performance optimization strategies including trackBy, virtual scrolling (CDK), lazy loading, bundle analysis, tree shaking, and profiling with Angular DevTools.
• Proficiency in CSS/SCSS for responsive layouts, CSS Grid, Flexbox, theming, and component encapsulation (ViewEncapsulation).
• Competence in testing frameworks such as Jasmine/Karma or Jest for unit tests and Cypress or Playwright for end-to-end tests, including mocking HTTP calls.

Required Skills - Node.js & Backend

• In-depth understanding of Node.js fundamentals like event loop, non-blocking I/O, streams, buffering, clustering, and V8 memory management.
• Advanced Express.js knowledge covering middleware design, error handling, route organization for large projects, and request validation.
• Mastery of asynchronous programming techniques using Promises, async/await, Promise.allSettled, error propagation, and graceful error handling in production.
• Experience integrating with databases via Snowflake Node.js driver (connection pooling, parameterized queries, large result set handling) and PostgreSQL using pg/node-postgres or Sequelize.
• Security implementations like JWT authentication, role-based access control, input sanitization, SQL injection mitigation, CORS, rate limiting, and helmet usage.
• Managing asynchronous job queues with BullMQ or similar tools, handling Python batch jobs, retries, and failure notifications.
• Real-time streaming techniques such as Server-Sent Events for frontend updates during job processing and AI response handling.
• Expertise in logging and monitoring with tools like Winston or Pino, request tracing, error monitoring, and debugging Node.js services in production.
• Familiarity with process management using PM2, graceful shutdown procedures, health checks, and running Node.js on Linux production servers.
• Proficiency in profiling tools like clinic.js or Node.js inspector to detect memory leaks and optimize response times.

Database & Data Management

• Advanced SQL skills for Snowflake including complex analytical queries, window functions, CTEs, MERGE, PIVOT/UNPIVOT, schema design, role-based access, and performance tuning.
• PostgreSQL expertise covering schema design, indexing strategies, connection pooling (e.g., pgBouncer), and database migrations.
• Clear understanding of the architectural distinction where Snowflake stores business and financial data while PostgreSQL holds UI metadata, sessions, configurations, and job statuses.
• Strong practice using parameterized queries on both database systems to prevent security risks.

Infrastructure & Deployment

• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, CloudFront, WAF, Route 53, Systems Manager, and IAM for deploying and maintaining production workloads.
• Configuration of Nginx as a reverse proxy, SSL termination, Angular SPA routing, and API gateway.
• Development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
• Containerization using Docker for both Node.js and Angular applications.
• Advanced Git workflows including branching, rebasing, pull request management, and conflict resolution in large-scale codebases.
• Linux system administration involving server management, systemd services, log rotation, and shell scripting.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Proficiency in Python for debugging and contributing to job engine and data processing layers.
• Experience integrating with large language model AI APIs like Anthropic Claude or OpenAI, including handling streamed outputs and sandboxed displays.
• Familiarity with advanced Snowflake features such as stages, streams, tasks, and stored procedures.
• Knowledge of multi-tenant SaaS architectures, tenant isolation, and schema-per-tenant design patterns.

Compensation Details

The salary range for this position is 700,000 to 1,200,000 INR per annum.
