- Develop and optimize complex geometry operations involving polygons and manage large spatial datasets efficiently.
- Enhance browser-based rendering and application responsiveness for handling extensive geospatial data.
- Create and maintain .NET/C# API endpoints supporting database interactions and application functionalities.
- Build and uphold automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing suites.
- Develop, maintain, and debug Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines covering builds, releases, service connections, secrets, and environments.
- Manage and monitor Azure infrastructure, including services like App Services, Key Vault, storage, networking, IAM, alerting, and cost controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues spanning frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure domains.
- Document all technical developments, production incidents, and changes for robust knowledge management.
- Suggest and implement improvements in application architecture, coding standards, and deployment workflows.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional frontend development experience, excluding internships, studies, or personal projects.
- Proven hands-on experience working with React, Next.js, and TypeScript in production environments.
- Demonstrable expertise in developing interactive geospatial and browser-based mapping applications.
- Experience with mapping frameworks such as Leaflet, MapLibre, Mapbox GL JS, or OpenLayers.
- Understanding of spatial data types and concepts including GeoJSON, WKT, coordinate projections, and EPSG codes.
- Capability in executing geometry operations like intersection, union, buffering, simplification, and topology validation using Turf.js, JSTS, or similar libraries.
- Proven ability to optimize performance for rendering and editing large spatial datasets in web browsers.
- Experience in building and troubleshooting Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Skill in configuring and monitoring Microsoft Azure cloud services including App Services, Key Vault, storage, and identity management.
- Background in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks including unit and integration tests.
- Must be able to work onsite in Canberra, ACT, with full unrestricted Australian work rights.
