Role Overview

The Senior FP&A Analyst reports directly to the Global Head of FP&A and plays a vital role in the financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and strategic initiatives essential for driving Thunes' growth. This position involves developing precise financial models and reports, enhancing FP&A function processes, and delivering insights to support high-level decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to Group-wide planning activities such as the Strategic Plan, Budget, and Rolling Forecasts.
• Support the monthly performance reporting process for the Board, management, and senior stakeholders by comparing actuals against budgets and targets.
• Work alongside the Global Head of FP&A on financial modeling and forecast scenarios, including evaluating investment returns for new products and mergers/acquisitions.
• Prepare analysis, presentations, and reports for senior executives and external parties like investors and lenders.
• Improve and simplify reporting processes and generate relevant management reports.
• Organize, maintain, and analyze diverse financial and operational datasets to evaluate product and portfolio profitability.
• Assist in audit preparations and respond to inquiries from internal and external auditors.
• Participate in various ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives as needed.
• May require occasional travel during planning cycles.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of three years' experience in FP&A, ideally within Financial Services, FinTech, or a regulated environment.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, able to clearly articulate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Strong commercial awareness with systemic thinking and ability to communicate complex financial information engagingly.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with senior finance and business leaders.
• Detail-oriented, accuracy-driven, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Curious and inquisitive approach to work, with a willingness to challenge data and deepen business understanding.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations with shifting priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an expert level, including macros and complex modeling; knowledge of AI agent/task automation and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent) are preferred.
