Role Overview

We are collaborating with a developing firm in the aircraft leasing sector to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant to bolster their growing finance division. This opportunity suits newly qualified accountants or professionals with up to five years post-qualification experience seeking comprehensive experience within a dynamic global enterprise. The position encompasses responsibilities in financial reporting, commercial finance, and investment activities, making it perfect for candidates aiming to expand beyond conventional accounting roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Prepare financial reports and statutory accounts
• Assist with audit and year-end procedures
• Engage in aircraft leasing deals and investment-related operations
• Manage cashflow forecasts and reconcile balance sheets
• Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers
• Contribute to improving processes within the finance department

Candidate Profile

• Newly qualified accountant or up to five years' post-qualification experience
• Experience from Big 4/Top 10 accountancy firms or industry equivalents considered
• Background in aircraft leasing, aviation, financial services or investment management is beneficial
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Ambitious, flexible, and willing to undertake wide-ranging responsibilities
