Job description
Role Overview
You will join the Group Procurement team to provide crucial project support, ensuring smooth procurement operations and the successful execution of ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system, including tender openings, administering the procurement system, and processing daily transactions.
- Address queries from various business units concerning Group Procurement Policies, Operating Guidelines, and related procurement matters in an accurate and timely way.
- Collaborate closely with the procurement administrative team based in Malaysia and resolve any escalated issues from Singapore business units.
- Support new system rollouts and enhancements by preparing and performing user-acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm all requirements are fulfilled before going live.
- Maintain compliance by proactively identifying business and regulatory risks and implementing measures to prevent issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree holder.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, ideally with exposure to procurement projects and initiatives.
- Strong governance discipline and solid knowledge of procurement operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High integrity, accountability for one’s work, and positive attitude towards teamwork.
