Job description
Role Summary
The Senior Estimator will oversee the development and submission of precise, competitive, and commercially viable bids for a variety of construction projects. This role collaborates closely with teams in Pre-Construction, Commercial, Design, and Operations, managing the entire estimating cycle from initial enquiry through to final tender submission.
Key Responsibilities
- Take lead in producing and submitting comprehensive and complex tender packages.
- Examine tender documents thoroughly and determine associated risks and opportunities.
- Develop detailed cost plans, estimates, and tender evaluations.
- Coordinate communications and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Contribute to value engineering efforts and facilitate smooth tender handover processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or another related field.
- Bring 8 to 10 years of estimating experience within a main contractor environment.
- Exhibit strong commercial insight along with sharp analytical capabilities.
