Join Exyte as a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Electronic Security (ES) design within the high-tech sectors such as semiconductors, batteries, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and data centers. Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and critically review Electronic Security designs during the pre-construction stage of hyperscale data center projects.
• Create detailed, high-quality technical designs and specifications internally while validating designs provided by external consultants.
• Ensure all ES infrastructure and technology plans conform to project requirements, budgets, industry standards, and integrate seamlessly with other building systems.
• Support construction delivery teams throughout project phases, resolving design queries and assisting in onsite quality assurance and compliance.
• Perform thorough technical evaluations of external ES designs including schematics and drawings to verify constructability and design intent.
• Manage and supervise the internal production of ES design packages from concept through construction, overseeing scopes from external consultants.
• Contribute to bid processes by supporting responses to Invitation to Tender packages and review supplier submissions.
• Engage with suppliers and vendors regarding manufacturer choices, pricing, and technical details.
• Coordinate closely with other engineering disciplines — ICT, MEP, and CSA — to ensure design compatibility across systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout construction milestones—from shop drawings to as-built documentation.
• Conduct safety risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards associated with implementing designs.

Qualifications and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in ICT, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing Electronic Security systems on major projects, preferably exceeding €500 million in data center environments.
• Familiarity or some experience with ICT systems design is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using Autodesk Construction Cloud or comparable Common Data Environment (CDE) software.
• Skilled in BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks for design coordination tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality documentation.
• Capable of working effectively under pressure and balancing multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage stakeholders and clients constructively.
• Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and clear communication.
• A keen sense of safety and commitment to safe working practices.
