Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and innovative Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This crucial position involves designing, executing, and enhancing electrical systems that support our industrial operations. The role includes leading a skilled electrical team, interfacing across departments, and promoting continual improvements while upholding stringent safety and efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy comprehensive electrical infrastructures including power distribution, backup systems, and advanced controls tailored to operational needs.
• Analyze performance of electrical setups, conduct root cause assessments of equipment failures, and develop innovative solutions to reduce downtime.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical apparatus ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian electrical codes, international standards, and local regulations.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities in partnership with maintenance teams to boost equipment reliability and performance.
• Lead and mentor a team of electrical technicians and junior engineers, offering technical guidance, performance reviews, and fostering professional growth.
• Maintain detailed electrical documentation including single-line diagrams, control schematics, operating procedures, and technical specifications.
• Perform electrical safety audits and enforce strong safety protocols to secure a compliant workplace.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to plan and deliver capital improvement projects within budget and schedule.
• Monitor and enhance energy efficiency across operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging electrical technologies, regulations, and innovations in industrial automation.
• Ensure strict adherence to Saudi and international electrical standards, maintaining transparent regulatory communication.

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Expertise in electrical system design, power distribution networks, and industrial control systems.
• Proficient in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or equivalent simulation tools.
• Practical knowledge of SCADA, PLC programming, and industrial automation technologies.
• Experience in project management including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery of electrical projects.
• Demonstrated leadership skills managing technical teams and mentoring junior personnel.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical safety standards, international IEC codes, and Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
• Effective organizational skills managing multiple priorities efficiently.
• Ability to interpret and create complex electrical diagrams and technical documents.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Electrical safety certifications such as OSHA or IEC standards are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Middle Eastern industrial environments and regional electrical standards preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities and operational demands.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with technological advancements.

Additional Information

Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is beneficial for this role.
