Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer with over 20 years of extensive experience in electrical engineering, project execution, construction, and commissioning phases particularly related to large-scale power generation, transmission, and distribution projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee all electrical engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning tasks.
• Ensure that project execution aligns fully with contract stipulations, schedules, budget constraints, health, safety & environmental policies, quality standards, and organizational protocols.
• Audit electrical system designs, technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Supervise installation, testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to maintain project synergy.
• Conduct site inspections, promptly diagnosing and resolving technical or construction challenges.
• Guarantee that electrical systems adhere to applicable standards and project criteria throughout their design and installation phases.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 20 years’ professional experience covering electrical engineering and project management/execution.
• Substantial knowledge and work history in power generation, transmission, and distribution networks.
• Proven practical experience in equipment installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Advanced skills with ETAP software; working familiarity with Flowstar, Microsoft Office suite, PLC, SCADA, DCS, network communication protocols, and vibration analysis software.
• Sound understanding of electrical design concepts, power system operations, circuit analysis, and control mechanisms.
• Experience using laser alignment technologies and relevant construction and equipment tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership abilities, and capacity to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent professional English language communication is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Vibration Analyst - ISO Category I.
• Certified Seal Assembly Artisan.
