Senior Drafter

Position Overview

We are urgently seeking a Senior Civil 2D Draftsman to join a prominent construction project based in Umm Qiddah, Al Qasim, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and possess a strong background in civil 2D drafting.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and critically evaluate detailed two-dimensional drawings, including plans, sections, and profiles, utilizing AutoCAD software.
• Translate engineering designs, technical specifications, and calculation data into precise and understandable drawings.
• Revise and update drawings promptly following design modifications and instructions received from the site team.
• Ensure all preparation of drawings adheres strictly to the established project standards and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate effectively with civil engineers, architects, and site personnel to facilitate smooth workflow.
• Keep meticulous records and maintain control over all drawing documentation.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior drafting staff to enhance team capabilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• AutoCAD certification is advantageous.
• At least five to ten years of demonstrable experience working in civil 2D drafting.
• Must have a valid Iqama ID with a minimum validity of three months into 2025.
• Immediate availability for employment is required.
