Position Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will take full responsibility for designing, deploying, and maintaining voize's platform and infrastructure — spanning cloud services, edge computing, and machine learning data systems. Your work ensures robustness, security, and compliance, enabling ML and product teams to deliver innovative healthcare AI solutions confidently to a diverse and growing user base.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Kubernetes clusters in production (AWS EKS), bare-metal K3s for ML training, and on-premises deployments using GitOps (FluxCD) and Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation and Ansible.
- Oversee the lifecycle of on-site gateway appliances including VM image creation, TLS certificate automation, and phased rollouts via GitOps.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions employing Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and OpenTelemetry across cloud and edge platforms.
- Lead automation for compliance efforts focusing on security hardening, access control enforcement, audit logging, and secure secrets management via SOPS/KMS.
- Support and scale GPU-based ML training clusters, orchestrate training jobs, and ensure reliability of data pipelines.
- Handle incident response processes such as issue detection, triage, resolution, and conducting post-mortem analyses.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in operating Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience with GitOps practices and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Skilled in deploying and managing monitoring and observability toolchains.
- Strong expertise in encryption methods, access control, and secrets management.
- Experienced in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Willing to participate in on-call rotations.
