Senior Design Architect

Their expertise covers luxury residential, hospitality, resorts, mixed-use developments, and large masterplans, emphasizing innovative design, technical precision, and project execution.

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned architect to take comprehensive ownership of projects from initial client dialogues through conceptual design, development, technical coordination, and final documentation stages. The ideal candidate will merge strong creative design aptitude with robust technical competence, ensuring delivery of sophisticated and practical architectural solutions. Collaboration with clients, consultants, and internal teams will be critical to uphold the design vision, schedule, quality, and technical standards throughout project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects starting from client engagement and briefing up to Issued for Construction documentation.
• Formulate and supervise concept design proposals aligned with client goals and project parameters.
• Drive design refinement and manage technical coordination throughout all project stages.
• Create and assess high-quality architectural drawings, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with multiple consultants, contractors, and stakeholders during the design process.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to the studio’s growth and knowledge-sharing culture.
• Engage in client presentations, workshops, and design critique sessions.
• Handle concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional design and technical outcomes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience.
• Strong experience in delivering luxury residential, hospitality, resort, mixed-use, or master planning projects.
• Proven track record leading projects from concept through to IFC documentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of both design and technical delivery aspects.
• Exceptional client engagement and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and leading project collaboration.
• Proficient with Revit software; candidates must be operational in a Revit environment immediately.
• Prior experience working on Middle Eastern projects is a strong advantage.
• Excellent verbal and presentation communication abilities.
