The Senior Data Scientist will join Team Greenrock within the Demand Division, focusing on the enhancement of Flix's Revenue Management System (RMS), which significantly influences commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with commercial teams to transform business needs into specific projects and address operational queries.
- Implement revenue management theories and industry-leading methodologies into actionable improvements, overseeing these initiatives from concept and testing phases through deployment.
- Share responsibility for the RMS system's continued development by actively engaging with peers and adjacent engineering teams.
- Support the technical robustness, dependability, and monitoring capabilities of the current system.
Candidate Profile
Essential Academic and Domain Knowledge
- Possession of a Master's or PhD in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- A solid theoretical grasp of revenue management, including demand analysis, dynamic pricing, and network revenue management techniques.
- Professional or practical exposure to revenue management or pricing technologies in industries such as transportation, travel, hospitality, retail, or analogous fields is a notable advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Python programming, with experience using libraries like NumPy, Polars, Pandas, and SciPy.
- Comfortable managing large datasets and formulating SQL queries.
- While direct production coding experience is not mandatory, a strong interest in developing, reviewing, and maintaining reliable production-level code is expected.
Interpersonal and Professional Aptitudes
- Effective communicator capable of clarifying complex quantitative analyses and optimization considerations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exhibits mature judgment in independently defining the scope of work, balancing immediate solutions with strategic goals, and respecting existing system limitations.
