Job description
Job Overview
The Senior Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting market expansion strategies, location selection, and investment performance forecasting by gathering and analyzing diverse datasets related to market trends, geographic areas, store performance, and capital investments. This position also entails managing and enhancing data collections and driving systematization and automation efforts to improve the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Invest 50% of efforts in strategy and planning by collecting, researching, and analyzing data such as market information, regional and site insights, store performance, and investment figures to aid decision-making on market expansion, site choices, investment performance analysis, as well as lease renewal, renovation, and store closure considerations.
- Dedicate 30% to data management involving the acquisition, upkeep, updating, and refinement of data sets.
- Allocate 20% to identifying areas for systematization and automation and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and operational excellence within the team.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Data Analysis, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years preferred in the food & beverage or retail sectors.
- Relevant fields: Retail real estate, market research, data analysis, finance analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with SQL, Excel, Power BI, Power Query M, DAX, and Python.
- Language: Proficiency in English.
- Additional Skills: Strong analytical capabilities combined with sharp business acumen, complemented by abilities in data visualization and storytelling.
