We seek a Senior Data Analyst who excels in translating intricate product and business inquiries into clear, actionable insights. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise and sound judgment, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Customer, Marketing, and commercial teams to understand and improve decision-making based on reliable data.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to clarify vague goals, transform them into measurable questions, and design practical analytical strategies.
• Lead the creation and upkeep of analyses, metric frameworks, dashboards, and reports that enhance decisions related to product, customer, and commercial areas.
• Establish success criteria for new initiatives and products, identify deficiencies in event tracking, instrumentation, or data quality, and coordinate resolutions with engineers.
• Evaluate domain opportunities, weigh options, and transparently communicate trade-offs regarding confidence, speed, usability, and reusability.
• Develop, document, validate, and maintain SQL-based analytical products; oversee their usage, improvement, or retirement as required.
• Deliver rigorous, comprehensible evidence to diverse audiences, including recommendations, confidence levels, limitations, and suggested actions.
• Influence senior partners by presenting clear evidence and providing constructive feedback.
• Mentor and guide analysts through solution design, peer reviews, and technical problem-solving, promoting reusable patterns that enhance team quality and confidence.
• Employ AI tools responsibly to boost analytical efficiency while exercising independent judgment, validating key outputs, and safeguarding sensitive data.

Initial Focus and Growth

• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in Product, Engineering, and business functions.
• Gain a deep understanding of critical domain decisions, analytical products, core metrics, and data gaps.
• Provide meaningful early contributions with clear assumptions, evidence, and actionable next steps.
• Assess where improvements in measurement, instrumentation, or analytical practices will most benefit the organization.
• Lead impactful analytical projects from conception to recommendation, adoption, and evaluation phases.
• Enhance the reliability and utility of measurements for major initiatives, instituting clearer ownership and quality processes.
• Promote the use and decision-support impact of priority analytical products, simplifying or improving the analytical environment.
• Establish yourself as a trusted analytical and technical advisor to partners and peers, advancing best practices beyond immediate deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency with SQL and experience managing complex, evolving datasets.
• Practical experience building and maintaining analytical solutions within modern data warehouses and business intelligence platforms; platform background is flexible but sound analytical judgment is critical.
• Proven ability to guide stakeholders from problem framing through to insight generation, recommendations, and decision support.
• Skill in collaborating with Product and Engineering teams on metrics, event tracking, data availability, instrumentation, and quality assurance.
• Strong analytical judgment including proper application and interpretation of statistical methods, with clarity about limitations.
• Experience creating well-documented, validated metric models, analyses, dashboards, or reports with defined ownership.
• Demonstrable leadership in mentoring, quality control, standards creation, or technical guidance at a senior level.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A resourceful and inquisitive problem-solving approach, capable of progressing initiatives with imperfect data while upholding high standards for evidence and outcomes.

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• Experience with Python for analytical, automation, or modeling purposes.
• Background in product analytics, product-led growth, experimentation, engagement measurement, or B2B SaaS environments.
• Familiarity with data science techniques and sound judgment for when specialized expertise is necessary.
• Experience with Databricks or similar modern data platform technologies.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, predominantly remote, and cross-functional setting.

This position is focused on hands-on analytical work coupled with product knowledge and senior partnership, not on people management or solely dashboard creation. The role aims to elevate team capabilities and impact through analytical excellence and leadership.
