Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

Emonics LLC is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with over three years in the field. The role requires working from home during the US shift hours of 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM. The position centers on delivering insightful data solutions using various analytical tools and programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and refine datasets, managing anomalies such as missing or inconsistent data points.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports leveraging Power BI and Tableau for effective data visualization and storytelling.
• Utilize advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, complex formulas, array functions, and dynamic chart generation to analyze data.
• Manage ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources efficiently.
• Employ Python programming, focusing on object-oriented programming, syntax, data structures, and algorithms, to facilitate data analysis, automate processes, and develop scalable solutions.
• Incorporate foundational machine learning techniques to assist in predictive and prescriptive analytics projects.

Essential Qualifications

• Demonstrated practical expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, usage of DAX, and dashboard storytelling.
• Proficient Python developer with solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and data structures and algorithms.
• Competency in Tableau and advanced Excel features such as pivot tables and array functions.
• Working knowledge of ETL concepts and ability to implement corresponding workflows.
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts like regression, classification, and clustering.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

Additional Advantages

• Experience working with cloud data warehouses including Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
• Familiarity with SQL for querying relational databases.
• Understanding of data engineering principles and industry best practices.

Additional Information

This is not a development role. The primary responsibilities will include providing technical training and guidance to consultants regarding job descriptions and role understanding sessions, as well as assisting them in interview preparation strategies.
