Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer - Splunk (Saudi Arabia)

Position Overview

As a Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer at Splunk, a Cisco company, you will be instrumental in assisting enterprise clients in Saudi Arabia by offering expert technical guidance in advanced security operations. This hybrid full-time role requires working 48 hours per week, focusing on delivering integrated cybersecurity solutions tailored to unique business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture positive working relationships with clients and partners to foster mutual expansion in cybersecurity services.
• Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment with sales goals by providing technical support, presentations, and solutions for Security Operations portfolios.
• Demonstrate cybersecurity products and services through onsite visits, remote webinars, and participation in field events to highlight platform benefits to potential buyers.
• Design customized integrated security workflows to satisfy regulatory and operational demands within enterprise and financial sectors.
• Conduct Proof of Values (POVs) and handle technical integrations to demonstrate the effectiveness of security solutions and secure commitments.
• Apply strategic, analytical thinking to address sales challenges innovatively and quicken the sales process.
• Guide and mentor junior colleagues by sharing expertise and contributing to team strategy development for advancing future leadership capabilities.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solution architecture in cybersecurity domains.
• Proven expertise in constructing and deploying integrated security workflows within Security Operations (SecOps) frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity platforms like Palo Alto Networks (CORTEX), Chronicle, Microsoft Defender, or Fortinet.
• Proficiency in conducting Proof of Value sessions and delivering technical demonstrations for enterprise security products.
• Experience engaging directly with enterprise clients within Saudi Arabia.
• Preferred qualifications include recognized cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or SANS Cybersecurity and vendor-specific credentials.
• Experience in mentoring technical personnel and leading strategic pre-sales initiatives is highly valued.
• Familiarity with modern application infrastructures such as Kubernetes, Docker, or serverless computing.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or Go.
• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies, including large language models (LLMs) and generative AI (GenAI), as they relate to security analytics.
• Knowledge of digital resilience concepts and how integrated security solutions enhance business continuity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex technical concepts to varied business and technical stakeholders.
