Senior Cyber Underwriter

Job Responsibilities

• Independently analyze, evaluate, and underwrite complex cyber risks.
• Design tailored and innovative insurance solutions that respond to the evolving challenges of the cyber market.
• Confidently lead contract and pricing negotiations with brokers, large clients, and other business partners.
• Continuously monitor relevant market trends and actively contribute your expertise to the strategic and product-related advancement of our cyber portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with sales, IT, claims management, and external partners.
• Assist in developing and conducting training on underwriting guidelines and share your knowledge with colleagues.

Candidate Profile

• Several years of experience as a (Senior) Underwriter specializing in cyber insurance.
• Strong insurance technical expertise and excellent analytical skills to assess and optimize IT security measures.
• Decisive with confidence in handling complex risks and skilled in negotiation techniques.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex topics.
• Independent, structured, and solution-focused working style with a commitment to actively develop the division within the team.
• Completed university degree in law, economics, computer science, or IT security.
