Senior Cyber Underwriter

Key Responsibilities

• Independently analyze, evaluate, and underwrite complex cyber risks.
• Create tailored and innovative insurance solutions to meet the evolving demands of the cyber market.
• Confidently lead contract and pricing negotiations with brokers, large clients, and other business partners.
• Continuously monitor relevant market trends and actively contribute expertise to the strategic and product development of our cyber insurance portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with sales, IT, claims management, and external partners.
• Support the development and training of underwriting guidelines and share knowledge with colleagues.

Candidate Profile

• Several years of experience as a (Senior) Underwriter specializing in cyber insurance.
• Strong insurance technical expertise along with advanced analytical skills for evaluating and improving IT security measures.
• Decisive and confident when handling complex risks and skilled in negotiation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Self-driven, organized, and solution-focused approach with a commitment to actively contribute to team and business line development.
• A completed degree in law, economics, computer science, or IT security.
