Overview
This role supports the Functional Quality and Performance Lead Partner and the Functional Risk Management Partner (and their Delegates) in managing daily advisory quality and risk initiatives, fostering a culture rooted in quality, compliance, ethics, and integrity within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist leadership in implementing daily quality and risk management activities across the Advisory service line.
- Lead risk management efforts for significant transformation projects that surpass defined thresholds, ensuring strict adherence to global and local policies.
- Promote and uphold organizational values related to quality, compliance, ethics, and integrity.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of quality and risk management issues, including those required by local regulators.
- Develop and update internal policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks linked to large projects, proactively offering solutions to maintain compliance standards.
- Escalate violations of risk policies and collaboratively recommend corrective measures with leadership.
- Prepare targeted risk reports and presentations for senior management as needed.
- Collaborate with global teams to resolve system-related challenges and manage administrative reporting tasks.
- Organize departmental meetings and prepare presentations.
- Continuously seek and implement improvements to streamline risk management workflows and enhance efficiency for client-facing teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline.
- Advanced qualifications such as an MBA or professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, CFE, or ACAMS are advantageous.
- At least 6 to 7 years of relevant experience within Big 4 firms, leading professional services companies, multinational corporations, or financial institutions specializing in risk management, internal audit, or compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of global and local quality and risk management standards and policies.
- Capability to provide practical, solution-driven advice aligned with business needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with relevant software tools.
- Technical competency to use risk management platforms and related IT tools effectively.
