Senior Construction Manager - Electrical

The project involves working closely with esteemed architects and international consultants to deliver a vast array of infrastructure and built assets swiftly, employing a practical construction management strategy, perfect for professionals experienced in handling both primary and subcontractor packages.

The development features intricate utility infrastructure and networks covering power, telecommunications, district cooling, water, and wastewater systems, along with related treatment and distribution facilities. Candidates with substantial expertise in large infrastructure programs and utility-rich developments will find this role particularly suitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of significant electrical utility and infrastructure packages across the project lifecycle.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors responsible for utility, power, and infrastructure tasks.
• Track the progress of construction schedules and implement recovery actions as necessary.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality requirements, regulatory approvals, and industry standards.
• Coordinate between utility providers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to manage interfaces.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, and readiness for operational handover.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental standards vigorously across all construction activities.
• Assess construction methodologies, temporary work proposals, and installation sequences.
• Facilitate identification, risk mitigation, and resolution of on-site issues.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports to senior project leadership teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Broad experience in construction and infrastructure project delivery.
• Proven capability in implementing various electrical infrastructures, including both high-voltage and low-voltage power systems, wet and dry utility networks, sewage treatment, district cooling plants, and distribution networks.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, quality control, and commissioning regulations and standards.
• Compliance with visa requirements for working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant experience on high-value projects within project management consultancy settings, essential for immigration and client endorsement.
