Senior Civil Engineer

Job Overview

This role involves providing expert technical oversight and engineering support specifically for civil works linked to a telecommunications infrastructure project. The position ensures that all civil construction complies with approved design plans, technical specifications, quality standards, safety protocols, and adheres strictly to the project timeline.

Key Duties

• Oversee civil construction tasks related to telecommunications and infrastructure development.
• Supervise activities including road works, installations of utilities, concrete placements, foundation laying, ducting, chamber construction, trenching, and restoration works.
• Evaluate technical documents such as drawings, method statements, material proposals, requests for information, and other engineering submissions.
• Perform routine site inspections to assess contractor workmanship, quality assurance, and project progress.
• Collaborate closely with diverse teams across telecommunications, electrical, ITS, structural engineering, utilities, and other stakeholders.
• Assess constructability and assist in resolving technical challenges, design modifications, and site-related constraints.
• Engage in coordination meetings involving clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
• Assist with testing, final snagging, handover preparations, and project close-out tasks related to civil engineering components.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Saudi nationals with a minimum of five years of professional experience in relevant civil engineering roles.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising civil or infrastructure construction activities, preferably within roads, utilities, or telecom enabling works.
• Proven expertise in inspection protocols, quality management, technical documentation, and contractor liaison.
• Proficient communication skills in both Arabic and English.
