Job description
Overview
The Department of Children and Families is seeking several Senior Child Protection Practitioners to join its Regional Services – Central Australia unit located in Alice Springs. The primary mission of these roles is to deliver integrated family and child support services within the Families and Regional Services Division, which encompasses Child Protection and Youth, Family Support; Carer Support; Placements; and Business Support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to a team of professionals responsible for delivering statutory and non-statutory welfare services.
- Offer support to individuals, groups, and communities in compliance with applicable legislation and departmental policies and procedures.

Remuneration for this professional level 2 position ranges from $95,697 to $114,104 as salary with a total remuneration package between $113,101 and $134,507.
