Senior Chef

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and driven Senior Chef to take charge of our kitchen operations at one of our bustling city centre venues. This role requires leading an enthusiastic kitchen team to consistently produce high-caliber dishes in a fast-moving hospitality setting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, and motivation to the kitchen staff to enhance performance and teamwork.
• Supervise all stages of food preparation, presentation, and service ensuring top quality and consistency.
• Handle inventory management including stock control, ordering procedures, waste reduction, and managing supplier partnerships.
• Continuously innovate by creating menus and specials that align with customer preferences and demands.
• Ensure rigorous compliance with HACCP standards, food safety protocols, and maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene.
• Collaborate closely with management teams to monitor and control costs aligned with business objectives.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Senior Chef or Senior Sous Chef in similar hospitality environments.
• Demonstrated strong leadership qualities and excellent organizational capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP compliance.
• Ability to perform efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
• A genuine passion for delivering food quality, consistency, and exceptional customer service.
• At least five years of experience within the Irish hospitality industry.
