Senior Career Counselor

About the Role

MicroDegree Education Pvt. Ltd., based in Jayanagar, Bangalore, is seeking enthusiastic and results-driven Career Counselors. The selected candidate will assist prospective learners in selecting appropriate upskilling programs, leveraging their experience in EdTech sales and proficiency in Kannada.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to prospective students about MicroDegree's courses and career paths.
• Assess candidates' career objectives and suggest suitable programs.
• Manage inbound and outbound communications via calls, WhatsApp, and emails.
• Consistently follow up with potential learners until they enroll.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission goals.
• Maintain detailed records of leads and student interactions within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with admissions and operations teams to facilitate smooth enrollments.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with prospective students.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in EdTech sales (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Kannada for communication is compulsory.
• Good communication abilities in English and Hindi are advantageous.
• Strong counseling, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Target-driven with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Basic familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Eligibility

Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply. Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.

Additional Information

• Location: Jayanagar, Bangalore, with work from office requirement.
• Employment Type: Full-time position.
• Experience: Minimum one year of EdTech sales or career counseling experience.
• Compensation includes a monthly salary ranging between INR 20,000 and INR 25,000 along with attractive incentives.
