Senior Business Analyst - eLearning Sector

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in gathering and analyzing business needs within the eLearning domain. The role involves leading requirement elicitation efforts, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting agile software development processes to deliver learning platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed business requirement elicitation through stakeholder interviews, reviewing documentation, and performing process walkthroughs.
• Author clear, INVEST-compliant user stories following the format: "As a [user], I want [feature] so that [benefit]".
• Define acceptance criteria including both positive and negative scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) utilizing standardized templates.
• Create and document current (as-is) and future (to-be) process flows using BPMN or flowchart methodologies.
• Manage product backlogs effectively in JIRA or similar tools, handling epics, user stories, tasks, and sprint boards.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Communicate effectively with both business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting in test case mapping, preparation, and defect triage.
• Work with payment gateway features including subscription models and transaction processes.
• Operate within learning management system (LMS) ecosystems or similar eLearning platforms.
• Have knowledge of in-app guidance tools like AppCues.
• Utilize wireframing solutions such as Figma, Balsamiq, or Lucidchart to support requirement visualization.
• Write tracking specifications or analytical requirements for tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
• Apply impact analysis and change management best practices throughout projects.
• Coordinate UAT activities involving internal and external users.
• Develop data mapping documentation connecting frontend, backend, and third-party systems including CRM and databases.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in any specialization is required.
