Overview
We are expanding our Professional Services team and seeking a motivated, experienced Chartered Surveyor to join BNP Paribas Real Estate in Dublin. This role includes a diverse range of professional service duties such as valuations, rent reviews, rating, and lease advisory assignments. Reporting directly to the Executive Director & Head of Professional Services, the position offers an excellent opportunity for a driven individual aiming to advance their career within a top-tier European commercial real estate consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling Corporate Real Estate tasks including rent reviews and lease renewal negotiations.
- Collaborating with senior leadership on valuation projects, property inspections, and negotiations across commercial properties and land.
- Meeting and exceeding fee earning objectives relevant to the role.
- Supporting pre due diligence activities adhering to Group Policies and Procedures.
- Understanding and contributing to team targets that influence revenue and profitability.
- Producing accurate, thoughtful valuations and comprehensive reports.
- Pursuing continuous professional development to broaden expertise and sector knowledge.
- Raising the profile of the Professional Services team both internally and externally within BNP Paribas.
- Providing timely and precise information to Managing Director and Executive Directors.
- Coordinating with other departments to cross-sell services to clients.
- Assisting with mentoring colleagues including other Surveyors and Graduates.
- Engaging in market research and intelligence gathering efforts.
- Performing other duties aligned with experience and role requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree-level education.
- MSCSI and MRICS qualifications.
- Between 1 and 2 years of experience post MRICS qualification in commercial real estate.
- Registered RICS Valuer status.
- Holding PSRA Licence.
- Training in Argus Enterprise or similar valuation software.
- Demonstrated expertise in rent review and lease renewal negotiations.
- Experience preparing Red Book compliant valuations and producing associated reports.
- Possession of full clean driving licence with car access.
Required skills and abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with all organizational levels effectively.
- Solid technical proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Argus Enterprise software.
- Capability to build and sustain positive client relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and adeptness at managing time efficiently.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with meticulous attention to detail.
