Role Overview

The Senior BIM Engineer/Architect will actively participate in BIM implementation, digital project delivery, and multidisciplinary coordination on international projects. The role ensures adherence to model quality and coordinates with stakeholders to meet Turner and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and apply the BIM Execution Plan, standards, workflows, and project protocols.
• Set up and administer the Common Data Environment (e.g., BIM 360/ACC) where applicable.
• Define BIM roles, deliverables, and information exchange among project participants.
• Perform BIM model audits and quality assurance to maintain compliance with Level of Development standards.
• Lead design coordination and clash detection utilizing Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Conduct clash tests, generate reports, facilitate coordination with consultants and contractors to resolve issues for clash-free models.
• Organize and moderate BIM coordination meetings, ensuring follow-up on model updates and clash resolutions.
• Review and validate drawings, shop drawings, and BIM models for design consistency.
• Provide BIM workflow support, data exchange maintenance, model coordination, and technical advice to project teams.
• Collaborate closely with clients, BIM consultants, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders on BIM deliverables and coordination activities.
• Extract and analyze model data such as quantities, schedules, and other project information as needed.
• Prepare and present fortnightly BIM progress and clash detection reports.
• Support 4D and 5D BIM functionalities including project scheduling, sequencing, quantity takeoff, and cost monitoring.
• Incorporate approved design and construction modifications into BIM models and re-coordinate accordingly.
• Review and authenticate as-built BIM models against redline drawings and site updates.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or Architecture (B.Arch), Master's in Architecture (M.Arch) is also accepted.
• Additional certifications in BIM will be advantageous.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Advanced proficiency using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of BIM processes including BEP, LOD standards, CDE management, coordination, and clash detection methodologies.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative team player with proactive and solution-led mindset.
• Competent in documentation and presentation of BIM-related information.
