Senior Back-End Developer

Role Summary

This position is for an experienced Back-End Developer based in Business Bay, Dubai at Opus Tower. The role involves designing, debugging, and maintaining microservices using modern technologies while ensuring continuous improvement of legacy systems. Collaboration with DevOps teams and providing support across departments are key aspects.

Responsibilities

• Design, troubleshoot, and debug microservices efficiently.
• Utilize advanced technologies to upgrade and enhance existing services.
• Coordinate with DevOps engineers to support microservice development.
• Collect and implement technical requirements accurately.
• Offer guidance and technical assistance to internal teams.
• Create reusable code libraries to facilitate future development needs.
• Stay updated with evolving technology trends to maintain competitive solutions.
• Employ a problem-solving mindset within a collaborative team environment.
• Effectively organize and juggle multiple assignments to meet strict deadlines.
• Apply excellent analytical capabilities and manage time wisely.

Required Experience and Technical Skills

• Proficient with TypeScript and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Experience working on the Azure cloud platform.
• Familiar with version control via Git.
• Understanding of Cloud Messaging Services and Event-Driven Development (EDD).
• Knowledge of Microservice Architecture design and implementation.
• Hands-on expertise with MongoDB database.
• Proficiency in NestJS and NodeJS frameworks.
• Experience implementing WebSocket communication protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Azure Service Bus technology.
• Background in financial transaction systems.
• Experience using Publish-Subscribe (PubSub) messaging models.

Working Conditions

• Work location is Dubai, Business Bay, Opus Tower.
• Typical working hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a half-day on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
• Sundays are non-working days.
