Senior Associate Lawyer

Job Description

A prestigious law firm based in Qatar is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel with expertise in international arbitration and corporate/commercial law. This role requires a bilingual English/Arabic lawyer with significant regional or international experience, capable of handling complex legal cases and liaising directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on international arbitration disputes spanning diverse commercial issues.
• Manage corporate and commercial legal matters for a variety of local and international clientele.
• Oversee complex legal cases from the initial advice stage through to resolution.
• Offer counsel in both Arabic and English to clients.
• Collaborate closely with senior legal practitioners and clients to address strategic legal challenges.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be a qualified lawyer with substantial post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency and experience in international arbitration.
• Strong background in corporate and commercial law.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English languages.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Prior experience within an international or prominent regional legal setting is highly desirable.
