About the Role
Join the HR Centre of Excellence at a leading university to support and enhance the institution's compensation and performance management framework. This position focuses on fostering equitable, competitive, and performance-driven HR practices by delivering comprehensive operational support for salary and bonus reviews, market analysis, compensation reporting, and policy guidance. Collaboration with HR Business Partners ensures consistent enforcement of reward strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage annual compensation and performance evaluation cycles with precision, delivering timely execution aligned with policy and governance standards.
- Develop detailed analytical reports, cost models, and management presentations to inform decision-making.
- Assist in reviewing and administering salary frameworks, reward policies, and incentive programs to uphold fairness and market relevance.
- Provide consultative support to stakeholders regarding procedural guidelines and requirements.
- Craft communications, frequently asked questions, and briefing documents to facilitate understanding of compensation programs.
- Maintain meticulous documentation to support compliance with reporting, governance, and audit standards.
- Drive improvements in operational workflows to boost efficiency, preserve data integrity, and enhance user experience.
- Engage in HR projects and contribute to upgrades of compensation-related systems.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a university degree in any field.
- Brings between 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits, rewards management, performance evaluation, or analogous areas.
- Has practical experience coordinating salary review cycles, bonus allocation, job evaluation, and benchmarking against market data.
- Experience within public sector bodies, autonomous universities, higher education institutions, or sizeable, complex organizations is beneficial.
- Exhibits strong analytical and quantitative capabilities enabling effective interpretation and presentation of complex datasets and trends.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and proficient with HR reporting or analytics platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing reports and delivering presentations.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrates critical thinking to analyze challenges, make sound judgments, and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Maintains high standards for detail orientation and accuracy.
