Role Overview

The position of Senior Architect is a full-time opportunity based in Kuwait City focusing on architectural design. Responsibilities include leading architectural concepts through detailed schematic designs and drawings, in close coordination with engineering teams. The Senior Architect will critically assess and improve design proposals, generate technical documentation, and ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Daily tasks include managing project schedules, mentoring junior architects, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and addressing design or on-site issues. Collaborating closely with project managers and interdisciplinary teams is integral to this role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong background in architecture and architectural design, proven by leadership in complex building projects.
• Solid experience in project management encompassing planning, coordination, and effective stakeholder communication.
• Understanding of integrating architectural design with engineering, fit-out, and construction disciplines.
• Familiarity with software development principles as they relate to CAD, BIM, or digital project workflows.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other visualization tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a keen focus on detail and quality.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities within multidisciplinary environments.
• Experience working in construction or contracting sectors in the Gulf region is an advantage.
