Senior Architect - Doors & Architectural Hardware

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Architect with specialized expertise in doors, ironmongery, and architectural hardware to join our project team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This is an on-site role focused on delivering comprehensive door-related architectural solutions.

Key Duties

• Oversee the entire door package, including door types, frames, material selections, finishes, and detailed specifications.
• Develop and scrutinize door schedules, hardware sets, ironmongery schedules, and master-key system configurations.
• Ensure coordination of requirements such as fire-rating, acoustics, security access, and automation for doors.
• Evaluate shop drawings, material submissions, samples, technical data, and compliance documentation.
• Maintain and update BIM door information and generate necessary schedules and data extracts.
• Liaise effectively with suppliers, specialized subcontractors, and various disciplines involved in the project.
• Address Requests for Information (RFIs), technical inquiries, interface challenges, and on-site coordination issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex door and architectural hardware packages.
• In-depth understanding of door hardware, ironmongery, master-key systems, and related technical specifications.
• Proficient in BIM processes, especially with Revit coordination and scheduling functions.
• Experience working on airport or other large-scale infrastructure projects is desirable.
• Immediate availability stands as a beneficial asset.
