Key Responsibilities

• Direct and lead diverse design teams, ensuring the delivery of coordinated, high-quality design solutions.
• Oversee design programs, including allocation of resources, budgeting, and delivering scheduled project milestones.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, organizing meetings and delivering presentations.
• Review and integrate design data, proposals, and technical documentation for compliance and accuracy.
• Track project progress, identify and address risks, changes, and critical issues to maintain project schedules.
• Ensure strict adherence to client specifications, design standards, Building Information Modeling (BIM), health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, and applicable regulations.
• Control scope definitions, manage information flow, and enforce document management systems according to company procedures.
• Provide expert technical advice, resolve design challenges, promote continuous improvement, and mentor team members.

Candidate Requirements

• Academic qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or a related field.
• Substantial experience in design management, notably with mixed-use projects based in Abu Dhabi.
• Proven capability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and deliver complex design projects.
• Deep understanding of BIM and CAD software, design protocols, regulatory compliance, and construction methodologies.
• Competence in managing comprehensive program elements including resources, finances, risks, changes, and deliverables.
• Exceptional client and stakeholder engagement and management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, technical acumen, coordination expertise, and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards along with design risk management.
• Experience utilizing artificial intelligence tools to develop, visualize, and conceptualize designs in early project stages.
• Keen attention to detail with a commitment to guiding and supporting junior team members.
