Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. This role involves ownership and enhancement of internal custom applications, upgrading solutions initially developed by citizen developers into secure, production-grade software, and ensuring adherence to best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Our environment is international, fast-moving, and focused on cloud and SaaS platforms with minimal on-premise solutions.

Core Responsibilities and Skills Required

• Develop web applications using React with Vite, Node.js, and Express.js framework.
• Design, optimize, and maintain Azure SQL databases.
• Create and design RESTful APIs.
• Utilize GitHub and Azure DevOps to manage code repositories and development workflows.
• Manage full SDLC activities, including branching, merging, and establishing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based applications utilizing Azure or AWS platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Background in development of MCP servers is advantageous.

Candidate Attributes

• Between 5 and 8 years of experience in web application development.
• Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
• Committed to continuous learning, innovation, and team collaboration to achieve collective success.
• Experienced with Agile Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint retrospectives.

Interview Process

• Initial screening by Talent Acquisition over phone.
• Two video interviews with technical teams conducted via Microsoft Teams or face-to-face.
• Final video interview with the Hiring Manager.
