Senior Angular Developer

About the Role

We seek an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in Angular to join our team. The position involves designing and developing scalable, high-quality web applications, primarily serving the banking and financial sector. The successful candidate will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to create impactful digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and sustain responsive, high-performance web applications utilizing Angular framework
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and efficient codebases
• Engage in technical design discussions proposing scalable, effective frontend solutions
• Integrate frontend modules with backend services through RESTful APIs
• Enhance application performance, scalability, and user experience
• Develop and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Perform code reviews ensuring adherence to standards and best practices
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows and deployment procedures
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and client stakeholders to align development goals
• Work on financial systems ensuring compliance with security and performance requirements
• Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of frontend development experience, particularly with Angular
• Background working in banking, fintech, or broader financial services environments
• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, SCSS/CSS
• Strong understanding of API integration patterns including RESTful and GraphQL
• Familiar with version control systems, primarily Git
• Experience with state management libraries such as NgRx and RxJS
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling like GitLab CI and Jenkins
• Experience using code quality assurance tools such as SonarQube and Veracode
• Exposure to containerization using Docker
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and related tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Knowledge of authentication frameworks including OAuth2, SSO, and OpenID Connect
• Experience with cloud platforms, for example AWS
• Familiarity with modern testing frameworks like Cypress and Playwright
