Job Summary

The Senior Android Developer role is intended for professionals with 5 to 7 years of experience focused on designing, creating, and sustaining high-quality Android applications. The position demands strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and teamwork to produce stable, user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain superior Android applications utilizing Java and Kotlin.
• Work closely with backend teams to launch new features and support existing ones.
• Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness through effective enhancements.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs while continuously improving app efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and a continuous learning culture.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Android development.
• Oversee the complete app lifecycle including planning, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Apply security protocols to safeguard user data and comply with Google Play standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• Between 5 and 7 years of hands-on experience developing Android applications.
• Strong proficiency with Java and Kotlin and thorough knowledge of Android SDK and Android Studio environment.
• Experience working with Android frameworks and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Competent in using version control systems, especially Git.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, debugging skills, and communication proficiency.
