Role Overview

We are searching for a proficient Senior Android Developer responsible for owning and steering the Android app's architecture and ongoing development. This key role demands expertise in modern Android technologies and best practices to ensure the app’s scalability, performance, and user satisfaction. The successful candidate will collaborate extensively with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create a seamless mobile experience while contributing to the app’s technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable Android applications using architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Champion Jetpack Compose adoption for creating responsive, declarative UI components.
• Uphold high standards of code modularity, quality, testing, and performance for long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric features that improve the app’s experience.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, automate testing (unit and UI), and oversee release processes.
• Monitor application stability through logging, performance analytics, and prompt issue resolution.
• Maintain detailed documentation relating to architectural decisions, features, and technical workflows to support team knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on Android trends, tools, and frameworks to continually enhance the codebase, development tooling, and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong development experience with Android and deep expertise in Kotlin.
• Thorough knowledge of Android SDK and contemporary development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines & Flow, and dependency injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger.
• Proficient with REST APIs using Retrofit or OkHttp.
• Firm understanding of clean architecture principles, design patterns, and modularization techniques.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, and MockK.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools and modern development workflows.
• Capability to independently handle complex projects focused on optimizing performance, scalability, and user satisfaction.
